Most commonly required. Includes any public discipline.

Includes standard certificate of standing with the addition of any (confidential) complaint information that may have been filed against you (also called a “grievance” or “disciplinary history” letter). Complaint check certificates will automatically be sent to your official address on State Bar records unless you designate as the recipient another state bar or supreme court’s bar examiners/admission office. Complaint check certificates will not be sent to any other address. If your current address of record is not correct log into your My State Bar Profile to update it.
  • Notarized Certificate of Standing
Notarization is occasionally required by foreign country jurisdictions. It is NOT required by U.S. state bars or supreme courts. Allow extra time for processing.
